Perhaps its because you are middle class or in the middle, between black and white. I am not sure, I have stopped trying to figure out black slang after I was about 15. The whole point of it is, is to have their own language that white people cannot understand, as sort of rebellion against regular culture. I could care a less about being called a redneck or honky or white trash, because I like being white and everyone else knows it and are probably jealous.
Therefore, I could care a less what the new black linguistics are today. They could call you worse, I would just pay no attention to what the idiot bottom feeders of society say. They can come up with a whole new language while they are in prison or working as a fry cook someday.

From my understanding the word Middler is used to describe someone of a middle or intermediate class in some schools and seminaries.
Another definition for it is:
The term middler is used to describe a third-year student of a school (generally college) which offers five years of study. In this situation, the fourth and fifth years would be referred to as "junior" and "senior" years, respectively.
Hope this helps you and your sister.

I have not heard the term middler. Ask the kids at church, or your preacher, to explain what they mean by "Middler."
Good luck and God Bless.

I have never heard of that term before...I think it has something to do with your age...you are neither an adolescent or an adult...so you are a "middler".

I think maybe its a term for your upbringing.. but Im not sure that its necessarily a insult.. either way, I wouldnt put much worry on it.
