Another food question. I'm a sucker for a steakhouse with character or good Southern BBQ ribs covered in a secret sauce with just a little burn. I like chilled beer mugs, full plates and the sound of dishes being washed the clatter of plates. I've been a pizza bar with sawdust on the floor and a dive with the .10 cup of coffee and oyster soup. I don't recommend the soup or the coffee for that matter, the pizza was very good. My first job was a line cook in a steak house I liked it and I watch when I can Hells Kitchen but I'm not a great cook. I started at garnish and was so proud when they moved me up to line cook on weekends I about passed out when I got my first blackened pepper steak order. So when in Oklahoma try the Cajun Rib eye at the Lone Star Steak house and Salon it's the best. If you can't have that then the Outback will do love those chilled beer mugs.

My favorite restaurants are:
1. Sunnin for Lebanese food. Its on Westwood Blvd north of Santa Monica. I recommend the Kefta Kabob plate.
2. Sushi Tenn for awesome sushi. Its on Sawtelle Blvd north of Olympic Blvd. I love their yellowtail sashimi.
3. Gilbert's on Pico Blvd for Mexican food. It's just good. I recommend the super burrito.
4. Gyukaku for yummy goodness. There is one on Pico east of Westwood Blvd and one on La Cienega Blvd, North of Wilshire just before the Le Meridian Hotel. It's a Japanese charcoal grill place with great meats and veggies, good drinks, and just lots of fun! It's just very upbeat with good food. Everyone loves the harami miso but my favorite is the Unagi Bibimba and Prime Kalbi Garlic.

There's a little chinese place where I live called the Rice Bowl. It's a little hole in the wall type of place that not a whole lot of people know about, but they have the freshest veggies, and the best general tso's chicken I've ever had.
