well you could be mean back and say the same or you can ignore them and just tell your friend you were hurt

the best thing you can do is tell him what a good friend you thought he was a walk away. It may not be tomorrow but down the line he will feel bad for what he did. never speak to him again though.

If it's true, I don't see how he hurt you. It's who you are and you should not have kept it secret in the first place....
