I agree that it is not "Israel vs. Lebanon". Hezbollah is trained and supported by Iran and Syria. Those are the countries that are responsible for BOTH Lebanese and Israeli deaths. Hezbollah initiated this conflict when they illegaly crossed the Israeli border and kidnapped two soldiers. That is an act of aggression, and Israel has been more than patient so far with Hezbollah and all the other terrorist organizations that have invaded their country and killed innocent people. Israel is defending itself. It has the right to do so. What WE need to be worried about is - how much more advanced has the Iranian nuclear program gotten since they sent Hezbollah over there to distract us from what WAS going on before this conflict. This is not a coincidence.

I stand not for Israel or Lebanon but against terrorist of any kind. The Hezbollah who killed and kidnapped Israel's soldiers last month are the same terrorist who bombed the American Marine barracks in Lebanon in the early 80's. America should have went after them then. But, we didn't want to upset anyone - so we looked the other way.
Over 200 of our best were killed because these terrorist harbor only hatred for anyone who doesn't believe as they do. So I support anyone who has the guts to go after them.

1. while Lebanon is getting caught in the fire, it is the terrorist that Lebanon has refused to get rid of that is the problem.
Lebanon agreed to with the UN to rid Lebanon of them a few years ago. So now Isreal is just dong what Lebanon was suppose to do.

2. Israel gave up land to try and make peace but the terrorist in Lebanon would not let peace happen.

3. The terrorist in Lebanon are a threat to world peace in general.

I think people believe that if Hezbollah gained Israel’s territory that they would be happy and all the terrorist conflict would end there. I know this is not the case. Terrorist Muslims hide behind a cloak of religion whilst they seek to gain ultimate world power. The Koran states that Allah cannot return until the world is cleansed of all infidels (anyone who does not believe in Allah). You start to get a understanding of why they hate the rest of the non-Muslim world when you read the tenants in the Koran and the Hadiths.I read more militant rhetoric in the Koran and Hadiths than I ever heard or read in my eight years active duty in the Army. These Muslim holy books call for them to do all that you have seen the terrorists doing in the last 50 years. It should not be a surprise to anyone that they are doing what they’re bible and Muslim clerics tell them to.Isreal is just a speed bump and the rest of the world is the mission. If you don’t believe that the average Muslim agrees with the terrorist’s actions then explain to me why they were dancing in the streets after 9/11.Good day to all of you, and may our future generations never have to endure the scourge of religious tyranny in the future.

Israel is the good guy, hands down! Lebanon includes Hezbollah in their parliament, the Lebanese have elected terrorists.

We have commonality on one side (Israel, USA, England, Australia...) some degree of freedom and support for individual rights. On the other side (Iran, Iran, Iran, Syria, Palestine (something less than a state)...), we have a coalition of mobs that embrace hatred (fear) of those freedoms, and prefer dictatorships and universal force of might over mind. In a word, it's a clash of man as an independent freewill entity vs. a savage slave to mystic collectivism. I prefer to live in a state that permits independent man to thrive. Israel is vastly freer than anything Hezbollah would ever embrace.

I stand by both. Lebanon must be cured of this Hezbollah
disease once and for all. Before the Islamo Fascists took
over control of Lebanon it was a gorgeous place. They use
to call Beirut the Paris of the Middle East. It was really nice
until those nut cases started messing things up.

It isn't Lebanon that Israel is at war with it is Hezbollah a cowardly bunch of pukes who use civilians as shields and use suicide bombers to get their point across.
