Im a Simple minds fan I've been to a few of their concerts in the past and I'm going to see them playing in Edinburgh on 28th aug.
I love loads of their songs but if you had to choose one song of theirs what would it be.

'Waterfront'. The pulsating beat is timeless.
'Sanctify Yourself'. It makes you feel as if you can do anything.
'Belfast Child'. Epic song of hope in despair.
'Someone Somewhere In Summertime'. The perfect accompaniment to this weather.
'Alive And Kicking'. The bit where the keyboards and drums back the woman's wordless singing is exciting beyond words.
'I Travel'. Wonderful urban decay masterpiece.
'Mandela Day'. At the time, a beacon of hope in a troubled world. Still inspiring.

most of simple minds stuff after the first album was utter dross. best song they have done is, without a doubt, "I TRAVEL". Like many bands about this era, they went too commercial, discarding their original sound to something more "pleasing to the public".
