Milk the cow yourself and feed the calf with it. The colostrum in the first milk is extremely important for the health of the calf. Tie the cows head and legs to fence posts if you have to. It could also be that the cow is too bag-full and sore to consider nursing the calf. After a few days of being forced to nurse the calf, the cow is usually willing to accept it.

Yes, you can feed a calf whole milk, just make sure it's warm, but it would be better if you could milk the cow and feed that milk to the calf. You should keep trying to get her to let the calf nurse. Hopefully she will let the calf nurse in a day or so.

yes the calf can have whole milk but not for to long, try to get milk replacer if her mom will not feed it, and if u do give it whole milk, make sure it is warm not cold, cold milk is not good for babys, i have cows and calfs so i do know what im talking about.

i would but also add a shot of whiskey in it. The whiskey will kill any bacteria in the calf throat that can cause a cold, upper respiratory infection, or pneumonia. Make the milk warm because the mothers milk is warm and she probably wont drink cold milk. be prepared for her to butt her head, because calves do that naturally to their mothers.
