believe me Scott Thornton won't be missed too much.. adding a guy like Mark Bell will bring more grit to the team and make them harder to play against. and offensively your stacked Scott was a good Shark and will make a good King as well..

What about them Sharks?
I think you're referring to the wrong Thornton. They should never let go of JOE Thornton....and his right hand man Jonathan Cheechoo. Check the NHL awards from last season - who was the MVP and Maurice Rocket Richard winners? Hmmm???

Scott Thornton is a benchwarmer he needs to go to a team like Columbus or Washington to play on the first or second line with real talent like Ovechkin or Nash.

Scott Thornton is an ordinary player, he will be replace easily! For example, you can put some money on Steve Bernier. I saw him played in junior hockey in Moncton and he's a power foward to watch!

all i care about is wether they've still got selanne or not, i just love that guy and he's really the only reason why i'm interested in the sharks, sorry to say i don't know much about the other players even though they look likle good players and i think they're a pretty good team, but that's just my silly brainwaves ;)

i felt the same way when shanny left detroit for the rangers. thornton was pretty good. wherever he goes he will help them out . san jose will be fine without him. they will find another player to replace him.

They have a relative of his who makes up just fine for him leaving. and Mike Grier is a player you want on your team. I am a Sabres fan believe me you will like him. Great on the Penalty kill, forecheck and breaking the puck out.
