Well, it depends on the way you handle approaching or being approached by women. I personally have teased and have been teased by men. A woman will think you are a tease if you pay a lot of attention to her for a very short lived amount of time. You could be flirting one second and then just not into it another second. Maybe you realized you just weren't interested or maybe you just saw something better come along and bam! See Ya. That's what makes a women think you are just playing or teasing her. I think when you find the right girl for yourself, teasing won't be an issue.
