I've been getting alot of bruises lately and I don't know why. I have this one on my leg that is absolutely huge and its purple and red and green. What are some ways to get rid of them ( I have them on my arms to and the top of my right foot) and do you know what could be causing it?

Your first step should be to kindly ask your dad to stop throwing beer bottles at you.

Take something really cold out the freezer and apply it to the bruise for about 20-30 min. Afterwards take a warm bath with some Epson salt or regular salt and soak.
A poor nutrition could be causing it. I'm not an expert. Replace fluids with only water and eat lots of green veggies.

bruising that bad is a sign that you may have an underlying condition . . see your doctor for blood work to rule out many things . . . Grandma's old remedy for bruises was to soak a cotton pad or paper towel in vinegar and put in the bruise for awhile . . supposed to help get rid of the discoloration faster

Try the cold compresses. Also, you may want to ask your doc to do blood work, you may have a more serious cause, such as anemia.

If you are bruising too easily, you are internally bleeding. I would see your doc soon, so you can get this taken care of.

it depends on how fast you normally heal. Just eat some protein foods and the bruises will fade away quicker. if they are that big of an annoyance, you can cover them up with foundation.
