Well I'm black and I'm a girl. But I have never yelled or screamed anything in a group or in the theater. So I'll say its how most ppl are raised at home. Because I feel if someone is always in a constant loud, yelling, screaming environment thats all they know. So they do it themselves. I know cuz my own aunt and cousins do the same thing. From early in the morning to the end of the day. Now when I'm not visiting them in my own home we all speak in normal voices and things like that. Bottom line has to do with environment growing up.

the place do you reside? Alabama? You sound as in case you think of all the white human beings occasion at some national white human beings's convention for the objective of plotting a thank you to reason disunity between blacks via stirring up the Uncle Tom situation. Too humorous! BTW, do you be responsive to the place the term Uncle Tom got here from? do you be responsive to the way it became defined representing a sell out? became the unique Uncle Tom a sell out? if so, how?

It's all races except maybe the english LOL. Everyone in a large group wants to speak but can't wait for a break in conversation because it might never come. I have noticed though that although people talk loudly they can usually hear everyone at once and that's an achievement in itself. The reason why you get stared at I think is because other people either singles or people in pairs are slightly intimidated by what sound like aggressiveness and just want to get by as quickly and invisibly as possible.

Groups of us. Not all of us, just groups of us. I am soft spoken and my best friend is the LOUDEST dam n woman in the world, and please don't give that wench a cell phone. LAWD! The quiet ones of us always seem to notice the loud ones and we just want them to shut up, not quiet down, shut up! Well you know we aren't going to do it! And sorry people it's not low self esteem, or no upbringing or any of those things it's just simply some of us are loud! So sweetie yeah they will stare, and they will think all the negatives, and sorry babyboy most likely we will not quiet down, you just have to love our passion about who we are and what we do and pray that as some of the louder ones get older, we will mellow out. Oh and for it being mostly Black women, have you seen some of the Caucasian women who hang with us? Nope they don't do it when others are around but I have seen them in a place where they feel "safe" to cut up and ...! We are just more open and extroverted with ours. Oh and please no need for the '"uncle tom" thing...my uncle tom is fine with the fact that you acknowledge him!

That's because we're a lively bunch and we wanna have fun. Of course, there's a fine line between being fun loving and rude. Not all black folks do that(as you are well aware of!) Just be aware that they're are other races that can be loud and unruly. If it bothers you that bad, complain to the manager. And as far as your family is concerned, you know how they are, so there's no need in moaning about it(Family is family, after all). Rest assured, as long as you mind your manners, don't worry about anyone else.

Hi..
Sorry for sticking my nose in your business, (you asked for blacks to respond,) but I thought it was an interesting subject to respond to.
I'm not black... I'm white. Your question caught my eye first of all because of the "Uncle Tom" reference, (so I got nosey,) and second, (where I got even more nosey,) because of your expressed concerns in the details of your question.
I had to pause and reflect on the last time I remembered seeing a loud group of blacks in a public place.
First of all, I want to say that it took me a few moments to jog up an appropriate memory; and when I had one, finally, it was of a bunch of people who seemed to be celebrating something - for the most part, my recollections of them, as a group, seemed fairly normal and not what you'd call "really annoying." When I asked myself then was; why I remembered this at all - the group or anything about it – the answer was, because of the party that I was with and because I was out enjoying myself and making memories, too... memories that had nothing at all to do with "them." After a second, and a third, and a fourth self-question, I had to admit that I agreed with you at least in part - that it was a loud woman who caught my attention most of all... she was younger and somewhat attractive, but geee, her laugh was a bit too overwhelming and thus she couldn't be ignored... and you're right, this gal did speak a lot too loud... But still, that was "a woman" and not "the group," and on this thought, I ended my analysis.
I drew my conclusion, and... as a result, I guess I'm here to sort of clue you in on its nature.
It seems to me that this concern of yours may be a thing that's more about "you in public" and less about "black groups in public." …that you might just be a little over-sensitive and a bit self-conscience.
But don't fret... we all feel a little embarrassed when we're out on the town... all trying to “mind our manors”... but, it happens, from time to time you can be sure, that there's gunna be "someone" in you're company who will cause you to cringe and duck for cover... it's just a people thing…and that’s all.
For what it's worth...

When we are young we do things that we think make us fit in or in some cases makes us stand out from the crowd as you get older and wiser then so do our actions if you do not like the behavior then you have the power to change your own behavior. It does not have anything to do with the color of your skin it is all about attitude and respect for yourself

I'm not in the USA and I'm not from the USA neither.
But in the country where I live......the most loud people are the ones who listen to regeaton music.
They listen to loud music, with rude messages, offensive lyrics and they do it in public.
It seems they have no manners and like to annoy others.

I have noticed some races are very animated when they talk or get together with fellow members. Maybe its a way to get noticed or its because everyone talks at the same time and you have to yell to be heard.
