The two halves are split in the same place that they were joined. This is not a terribly difficult task since the home is designed to be transported in two sections. Still and all, care needs to be taken by the movers so that damage during transit does not result.

Best advice is to hire experienced movers who are insured and let them do their thing.

By taking it apart, into two pieces and transporting it like a single wide mobile home. I got this from good source: Bill and Hillary.

Right down the length middle. Wrapped in plastic sheeting, all pipes and lines plugged and taped to prevent falling or loosening. Doors screwed shut. Windows too.
Always get professional movers, they are insured and well worth the costs.

Ours was done with an axe. Putting it back together was easy, too: Just a big pile, and set on fire. Done.
