Temping won't tell you when you will ovulate but that ovulation has already taken place--this is still very vaulable and you should temp. Ovulatin predictor kits will tell you when your lh surge is and ovulation should happen 36 hours approx. later. I use both methods together and also chart my secondary fertility signs like cervical mucus, cervical position, etc.

I went online and used a "fertility predictor" to find out what days we were most likely to get pregnant...and then I started a calendar to track when I had my periods, when I was ovulating (according to the fertility predictor) and when we had sex...I only charted this infor for about a month and a half...that was 29 weeks ago...we're expecting in october.

From what I've heard...using the temperature thing is iffy ...cause by the time your temp is up, you've already ovulated, and it still takes the sperm time to get where it needs to be... With the fertility predictor and the calender...you know exactly what your cycles are and the most likely days of ovulation...once we figured out the three or four days we were likely to be ovulating...we had intercourse at least once a day from a day before my "ovulating time" all through the three or four likely days...so that whenever the egg did drop...the sperm was already there...(as it can remain in you for up to two days)...

Preseed is to help with your cervical mucous.Start temp taking for a couple of months to see how your pattern goes and you must take your temp first thing in the morning at the same time everyday. You can buy ovulation predictor kits as well. They are eaiser to use than temp.
