Well, your neighbor probably figured out that you were stealing his internet and moved his router or turned the power down on it.

So, there's no way to help!

Maybe if you had explained your problem to your neighbor and had ASKED FIRST, he might have been willing to share. I did that for my neighbor a few months ago when his cable modem was hit by lightning.

Are you asking us to help you "Steal?" Using the term borrow or use a signal that is trespassing onto your property would go a lot further.

Replacing a router (retail value $40.00 or less) is much less then Bail out of a jail, let alone losing our reputations for helping one "STEAL"

first u realy need to get your own line, you are in violation of many fcc laws.if i were your neighbor i would kick your a## if i found out what u are doing, but there is a way around it,we'll call it war driving for a good name. u need first to set up static ip,tunnel threw ethernet, set ips,go in to advanced setting of wireless card and boost distance.but like i sayd if i found out you were doing this to me i would kick your a## oh ya use a dish and make your own antenna then run lmr 400 coax nothing less or the signal will weeken badly have fun

Get your own Internet service. They might have found out that someone is using their connection.

Perhaps they discovered someone camping onto their system and dropped their WAP transmitter power? This would reduce their signal to you.
