OK if you are like me mad you are a shop aholic then what i had to do was put my money in the bank and only buy what i absolutely needed and then if you think about it you can use the money you have saved up to go an a vacation or if you are not married for your wedding or honeymoon or whatever or maybe you can use it around Christmas time but if you spend all you money now you are going to get indent and it is going to be hard to catch up even if it is something u really want and it is only 5 bucks just remember that every dollar counts to that great something!!

$10.00 does make a difference when you add them together. Question for you to answer before you buy. Is this a need or a want? Cook more at home. Put that money into a savings account direct deposit so you don't have it in your hands to spend. It's nice to have on a rainy day. Entertainment? not sure what you do or what you like. Spend time with friends is cheaper than going to clubs.

You sound a little like me. Well I love shopping and spending $$ but what I have learnt is to shop all year round and I have a long list made up for Xmas. I start looking aroung a small gift of all in my list and when Xmas comes I have $$ for whatever I want and dont run in more unnecessary expenses. Try it it really works and everybody is happy for xmas time.

You need to learn how to cook your meals, and then grocery shop. I like to spend too, but I know I have to pay my bills FIRST! Then you spend what's left over. I allot myself a certain amount for spending each week, and budget it. When it's gone, I consider myself broke, until the fallowing Monday.

Dude, you sound like me. OK, you know what we need to do, is just rough it out, and no matter how badly we think we need something just sit it out and don't buy it. Maybe then we'll create a habit of wanting but not buying until debts are paid and savings are acruing.

Just keep thinking that something worse would happen, an incident where you really need the money.

Hell, I'm 49 and don't have a savings. But I don't worry about it. Life's too short to worry.
