At Zidane .fr, the official website, you can actually reach a Guest Book where you can leave your thoughts. It is edited by "Zidane Diffusion", who manage the image of the star, of course ran by his own family. The great Zizou has given plenty of opportunities to his close family.
There is also MerciZidane.fr that was launched by Adidas where you can thank Zizou for the lasting memories.

It's Zidane, and I doubt that he would waste his time with an e-mail, when he has TONS of playing and practicing. It's probably just one of his fans.

i doubt it. he probably doesn't use english emails. most likely he uses french. and it would be zidane, not zidan.
