I have heard that dark circles can be hereditary, and the skin under your eyes is just naturally thinner, meaning it doesn't matter how much sleep you get. that is how it is with me I can get a good full nights sleep and I still have dark circles. I along with many others on one side of my family have them. I don't know of a way to get rid of them completely (really wish I did!!!) but I use physicians formula cover tox ten ( about $8 ) its a concealer that helps reduce dark circles and wrinkles it is no miracle worker but I can tell a difference in how dark under my eyes are. I don't have that many wrinkles yet so i can't tell how well that part works:)

Cover up. Getting some sleep will help, but if you are very pale they are probably a permanent fixture. It could be genetic. Makeup is really your only cure.
Get one of the ones that reflect light and looks like a little paintbrush (almost all the makeup lines drugstore to fancy have a version) as they look the most natural.
Don't go too white/light though, or you will have a reverse raccoon thing going on. And use it sparingly! Too much makeup is not a good thing.

Get two metal spoons wet and put them in the freezer for about 5 minutes or till they are really cold and the water has turned to ice. Put the round part on the dark circles. Leave them there until the spoons aren't cold anymore. Under your eyes will be a little red for like 30 seconds from the coldness but it will be gone and so will the black rings. Hope it works for you it does for me.

Try the Clinique Daily Under Eye Treatment. It works great to diminish lines and dark circles! If that doesn't work, use some Eucerin to gently pat under/over your eyes, and let dry before applying makeup.
Good luck ~ Elle

try hemorrhoid medication like Preparation H. It's good at getting rid of those under eye circles really quick. It sounds gross, but it's true. It's been used in beauty pageants for years. if that is too gross for you, check out this website for some other creams.

They make special creams for getting rid of those dark circles. Second you could have an allergy- try benadryl or something similar see if that helps

Sorry, no easy answer to this one.
No caffeinated beverages.
No smoking.
Proper rest, proper diet, steady exercise. A good facial cream helps, but the bags are not a skin issue. Life-style issue.

Teabags, cucumbers, and even prep h one doc said. A good stress regimine is a good idea too, like meditation, yoga and excersize, though that isnt a quick fix just preventative maintenance.

chamomile - you can buy the essential oil or teabags. Dip teabags in very hot water then put them on your eyes about 5 min. Cucumber slices are also good. Buy under eye serum with chamomile and vit E oil.
