Do you know of any possible way to survive without the sun?

The sun is the root of all life dwelling on this planet. The base of all life rests on the existence of archebacteria, eubacteria, plantae, and fungi. Without the beings of those kingdoms, no other life would be able to exist. Even if they were able (even plants), it wouldn't matter because of the temperature difference no sun would create. The universe is currently at a temperature of 3K which is (-270 C), far below the normal value at which life can exist. If there were no sun, the earth would be around that temperature--perhaps slightly warmer do to our atmosphere. Anyway, you catch my drift.

Forget warmth and gravity. The sun drives all plant growth - how would we eat without plants, remembering of course that even if you like your meat, the animals have fed on plants.

The sun provides more energy to Earth per second than we can generate in a year. How would we ever match that?

Only by migrating to a "friendly" star could we do without the sun. But then that star would be our "sun". So, it's mute point.

We cannot survive without a star as an energy source.

The sun is not only a source of heat but also acts as the gravitational centre of the solar system. If it wasn't there, we'd spin off somewhere and suffer horrible earthquakes and floods before freezing to death in cold, dark space.

I doubt it,unless you use artificial sunlight, which I'm not sure if its possible in the future. We need the sun for a lot of things, for plants to photosynthesize and grow, for it to warm the earth, without it,earth will be like pluto, very cold. Although too much sunlight is bad for us too because of the ultrviolet rays shining down on us,which is harmful to our skin and may cause skin cancer.

Not right now, no. There would have to be some major technological advances made for us to live without the sun. We need it.

human life you mean? probably, with sufficient technology there would seem to be no a-priori reason why it shouldnt be possible long term, provided one has a decent energy source. nature has certainly solved the problem already, see the wiki url below for example all about the weird and wonderful black smokers, where whole ecosystems thrive without benefit of sunlight!

no possible way.. where would you get food, everything would be frozen, no electricity because all the electricity comes back to the sun, it would be too cold to live in maybe in the -1000 degrees, step outside and you are frozen...

At this point, no. We'd have to keep the whole earth warm or else live in domes and we just don't have the technology to do that.

OF COURSE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERY LIVING CREATURE NEEDS THE SUN!!!!
the sun is the main energy source!!!!!
it provides heat, and plants need heat to do photosynthesis and plants provide oxygen after doing that ,and we need oxygen.......
