I am currently using Ortho Evra (patch) for the last two months without a week off( this is for treatment). I haven't taken it off and I feel like my body is starting to bloat and feel like I might start menstruating soon. Please help, I am not suppossed to have my period for the next six months. Am I just paranoid?

it isnt a garantee that you wont menstrate as often as you would without that. You body may have different reactions to estrogen and any other hormones. For example, i cannot take a bc with estrogen because it causes me to bleed 100% of the time until its out of my system.call your ob and make an appt. and maybe ask about an IUD

Human body got physiologic functions that goes in normal way. Every function has its reason.I could not get what is your main reason of dying to avoid menstruating. There is nothing wrong with it. If any reason is associated with this avoidance why not let this normal process go on with its function and try to find other proper resolutions to answer the feasible conflicts menstruation might cause. Discomfort,Pregnancy,Sex Identity,Disturbance? Anyone I mentioned bothers you to having periods? Well, whatever it maybe just a piece of advice though:hindering this normal process is at your own health's risk.
