Ok. I had a little trouble finding my second job(I got laid off at the last one)due to the fact that I'm 16 and College students.

I looked at Target. They are pretty good in terms of employment. I have Warehouse experience and I would of been suited to restocking and warehouse duties. I applied as a cashier, they called me back and said, "You want to work at the pharmacy instead of retail?" I would be doing the same things.

The fact of the matter is that you just need to apply, apply, apply. Do a couple applications at favorite clothing stores, a couple at department stores.

Also, look at what other people your age are working at. That should help. But the best thing you can do is apply.

Do you? I think you mean to say "I need a job." To say "I need a job" is not an interrogative; it's a declarative statement. If you have to ask yourself if you need a job, you have problems, indeed.

First, work on your spelling, sentence structure, punctuation and grammar. No one is going to hire you if you slaughter the English language as you have done here.

Second, come to learn it in your deepest heart that jobs are not won "easily." You are up against everybody else out there who wants a job and has similar qualifications to yours. You may be told "No" the first time out. And the second. And the third, et cetera.

Getting a job at Mickey D's or a burger joint is a good place to start. They will hire almost anybody who is breathing. Sure, it's a minimum wage job, but what can you offer that merits more? Your first job is a learning experience. You will learn to show up on time, follow your supervisor's instructions, how to dispatch a crappy duty in your job, how to deal with people face-to-face, and how to work under stress and against time constraints. All of these things are needed to know as you rise in the world of work. You will not be at Mickey's forever. You will gain work skills that will allow you to move upward and onward to other jobs. If you fail to learn these things, you will quit in frustration and find yourself to forever be "needing a job." Consider Mickey's or whatever your first job is to be your "classroom" for future success. Good luck!
