that landlords must maintain apartments between certain temperatures? i know there is one for the cold, but what about the heat? where would i find this information?

If you are asking if landlords are required to provide air conditioning, unless your lease specifically states that they are, the answer is no.

One thing you can do to help yourself is to make sure you change your filter monthly and have maintenance clean your coils.

My husband is a maintenance man and has been doing nothing but a/c work for days now.

well, on the news today, they were asking people to put their temperatures on the air conditioners to 78. So i'm thinking that a good average would be 68-72.
