Should I just buy one and use it, or ask my doctor first?

well douching is not a good idea because your vagina has good bacteria that it would kill and then cause infection , possibly. If you are talking about an external wash, those are just fine:)

If everything is working properly down there, you shouldn't need it...those washes are filled with fragrances, dyes and chemicals that can harm the sensitive tissues you have. If you feel like you need one, maybe you should see a gynecologist first, because chances are something is wrong that makes you think you need to use it anyway.

Just buy it and use it. Not douche. It's supposed to be bad to douche, (although I do, it's a hard habit to break as I just recently discovered it's bad)

just use it, its purpose is to keep you clean so you dont get any infections so you wont need to see your doc
