friend's hearing loss in one ear may have been caused by this. I understand this is a fairly new finding...If anyone has information and could help, I would appreciate it!

There could be a lot more harmful effects aside from hearing loss. The amount of acetaminophen can cause liver damage and failure.

There is a syndrome called "SUDDEN DEAFNESS SYNDROME"
I experienced this 2 years ago and there is no known cause. One morning I woke up and was deaf as a post in my right ear. It still is deaf and the ringing is awful....
