If you have a doubt in your mind about what she wants, then you shouldn't.You want it to be both of your wants.

Josh,
Take it from a guy who has been in your shoes...wait.
The girl you want when you are 18 is waaaay different from the girl you will want when you are 30, and again at 35. It is somewhat the same for girls, although not as much.
I KNOW you love her with all your heart, but you need to see a little of the world before you make a commitment like this. It is much better to get dumped by a gf than to be in a bad marriage, or get divorced, especially if there are kids involved.
I recommend you two wait for a while...why not live together and see how it goes for a year or two? If other considerations won't let you do that, just wait it out the old fashoned way.
Anyway, good luck.
c

Are you in school or college? You may be turned down because of it being too early for a marriage commitment on her part. It shouldn't be hard to go steady or be engaged for a while until you are both sure of what you feel & want with each other. It would be better than getting married too soon and trying to get out of it before any time has passed.

Marriage is a big step. At the homecoming is as good a place as any. She might not be ready for marriage. Ask her and see what happens. Good luck.

look stud, if you are going to homecoming then you are definitely too young to be getting married. wait a few years and think about it at around 23 or 24 maybe.

Getting married is an added responsibility. Unless you're sure that you can support each other and be happy together for the rest of your life you shouldn't get married. Rather that you wait and be sure of marraige than get married and divorce. Even if shes the one...if you rush it- you'll loose her.
