..its a realization of your own mortality and that life is short ...if you wait it will pass you by. thats alittle hard to swallow so look at it like this ... if you want to have a nice car and a nice house and babes at your beck and call your going to need money ... and the surest way to do that is to make a very definite plan now about what you want to do with your life ... then realize that everything ur doing to achieve in school or whatever is so that in a couple of short years you will be the guy with all the nice things and a hot girl and those that were not motivated when they were young will be working at the local gorcery store with a fat trick coming to pick them up in a beatup car ... no money .. no life and 5 screaming kids in the back seat keeping you from ever digging yourself out of that position ....so either motivate yourself to achieve now or else face being a bornagain loser for the rest of your life ... the choice seems simple to me lol ... oh yeah , and btw make sure u dont ever knock up some hooker before you achieve your main goals in life or she will own it all lol... lesson over.

No one can be driven to do something by outside forces. However, conditions can be made so that it is likely that an individual will preform in a certain way.

An inner need to prove one'sself to the world. You can force people to do things but for it to last, the drive has to come from within.

If you encourage them to do it, and say how well they're doing it they can be driven. Encouragement and getting them stuff they like when they do REALLY well helps them to do it. Good luck.

The easiest way is to find someone to chase after, like a rival. After that it's probably the desire to prove wrong someone who is constantly underestimating you

Internal inspiration.
Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he should be, and he will become what he could be.
