I have a 41/2 month old baby and four other children, and sometimes at that age they go through their emotional stages, they are learning more, like my son just started saying da-da in one day it tripped me out. Most of the time when babies start to get alittle older they start to wake up grumpy until they are fed or attended to. wait awhile feed the baby, change the baby and try to talk to the baby and if the baby is still grumpy then he probably didn't get his nap out and is still tired or he may be even teething. There are some babies who start to teeth around that time but don't get their teeth until 6 to9 months. Just keep an eye on him you can tell if he is getting sick.

All pediatrician offices have an advise nurse. I'd call, ask for the advise nurse and tell them how he's acting just to ease your mind. It doesn't cost anything to call and that's what they are there for.
Also, he could have had a bad dream, or is teething. Some kids cut teeth that early. Like everyone else said, is he eating? does he still have wet or dirty diapers? (if not then that is not a good sign), does he show interest in eating?
You are a mom, go with your gut and take him to the doctor if you feel that this is totally out of the norm and he is inconsolable

Babbies are just like adults, they have their days. Maybe he's just not in a good mood, or having a bad day. I wouldn't worry about it to much unless it presisit. If you are really worried don't hesitate to call your doctor. I have called my doctor (expesally with my first child) over small little things, that really weren't nothing. But I needed the peice of mind to know that they were nothing to worry about. Any good pediatrition will take the time to answer any question you have, no matter how silly you may think it sounds.

He could be teething! It can happen that early. Or an ear infection, the only outward sign my son has shown is being fussy. But contact your child's doctor ASAP for an appointment. Good Luck

If your baby is eating good, and having bowels movements everyday, is nothing to worried about. Remember your baby is discovering a lot of stuff at the same time. Usually the first signs that something is wrong with your baby is that they stop eating or having bowels movements or fever.

If you seriously think something is wrong with your baby, why are you on the Internet? You should be in the doctor's office.
And you mention something happening at 2 months of age. Get the to the doctor if you think something is wrong.
Have some common sense.

He might not be feeling well...it sounds like he might have a headache. Check first for a fever, and if he doesn't have one give him a 1/2 childrens Bayer (crushed up and put in bottle) incase he has a headache and it also works for some tummy aches. That stuff always worked for my daughter.
