I'm sorry, but I disagree with Tiffany. It's hot, but not cool. It's strangely addictive, but most of the time, not fun. But it is still an animal game site.
I suggest you try Gopets. It's fairly new, it was started 2 years ago (June 2004), but I think it's gone a long way for such a young site. I've been there for 10 months, and I like it. It's cool, because you get to make pets, which are your avatars. the pets are interactive too, and they have good AI. That also makes it fun, including the ability to dress up pets, and talk to friends on an instant messaging service, throguh private messages, the forums, blogs, and for foreign friends, IKU (eye-koo), which consists of "slots" where you drag pictures in. There's also leveling up, which promotes activity on the site. It's cool, and it's getting more popular. It's free too. Though being premium gets you extra services and discounts.
