Last year this rascal, (or family members) ate every ground veggie that I planted. Cukes, squash, radish tops. only didn't bother my cherry, and big boy tomatoes. I live in Mass. and chose not to have a garden tjis year. (boo hoo!!!)

We had groundhogs living under our shed for years. Then we adopted two retired greyhounds and the groundhogs moved on.

Are you certain he is a gound hog? If so, you could buy him a bus ticket to PA. They seem to be fond of them in early February.

Probably have to trap him. I asked a similar question about moles and the suggestion I received was excellant. I purchased the traps as the man from California suggest and am finally catching some of those critters.

live trap would be best,I have tried everything from smoke bombs to sticking a hose in the hole. Traps are the only way to get rid of them for good.

Supposedly, if you leave out fruity bubblegum, they'll eat it and fill up with gas and die. Gross. I don't have a groundhog problem so never tried this. Sounds cruel, eh?

get a live trap somtimes yuo can borrow one from animal contro. then catch the critter and let him loose somplace away from you home

Get a "Have-a-Heart Trap" and catch and release. That's what we did.

trap it and have it taken miles from your home and released or have it killed . . not much more you can do than that

.22LR if law and available space allows. or a BB gun with field pellet.
