If some guy asks you on a date without actually getting to know you as a person then he is only asking your physicality on a date. If his physicality is hot enough then go ahead but don't expect to be compatible! If he uses cheesey chat up lines then he has no self respect and you won't have any for him either by the end of the date unless you are so down on yourself that you find it flattering that a man only finds you physically stimulating.
If a gorgeous chap who you click with in regular conversation asks you out then go for it and have a great time!

If a lady came up to me and asked me on a date I'd ask her for her phone number, name and e-mail address and then take her on a date. If a man comes up to me and asks me on a date I'd say forget about it... hehe.

by the time he finishes asking, you will have figured him out therefore your answer depends on whether you fancy him or not.if you fancy him tease him -i mean don't be direct just exchange numbers and tell him to wait for you to make up your mind.golden rule,push the date at least a week ahead.
