Here in England it is normal to have a picnic in the park. It has a romantic air about it when it's with a partner but when it's with family and children, a sense of fun.
I haven't had one for a long time now.. but you've given me an idea for the weekend, weather permitting. Thank you

Yeah,had a picnic in Valley Forge park a few yrs back w/my daughter and some of her friends.A group of about twenty or so deer came running thru about a quarter mile away.

Yes, you should try it, with friend or family. The more people that join you the better, so you can play games, like volleyball. It's good for little kids, they can run around and tired themselfs out.
