Unfortunately, those just don't work like they make them appear to work on the commercials.

Try opening your pores up first-I know it might be a hassle when the strips should work alone but, if you have seriously blackhead issues (like me!), you'll want to do anything for help.

Start with a clean face.
Boil some water in your teakettle (or a pot) and fill up your bathroom sink. Make a tent out of a towel and put your head under the tent for as long as you can stand it or until the water is no longer steaming. Put the Biore strip on and leave it for however long you usually do. After you pull it off, wash your face again w/warm water and splash w/cold so the pores seal back up.

I actually skip the Biore strip step. Just steam my face, squeeze the blackheads, then wash again, then splash on the cold water.

Cheaper than the strips (virtually free!).
Hope this helps!

Well only you can answer why you've used them twice in 4 days. Now as to why they may not be working as expected...your nose may be cleaner than you think, or, your nose may be dirtier than you think. Be sure to wash your face with fairly warm and soapy water (if soap too harsh use a foaming cleanser), your face completely and then get the strip out of it's pkg when your hands are dry (its easier) and then pat very warm water onto your nose and apply the strip making sure to get into the creases...YOU MUST LET IT DRY THOROUGHLY (10 - 15 minutes) try not to wrinkle your nose til its ready then be sure to remove it as recommended on the package. Good Luck with that!

Biore works well for me - the imposters are sh*t

all that acne stuff has in it is alcohol - there is a much cheaper and better way to deal with acne.

heres what you do -

1) rinse your face in water

2) take an old clean sock and put rubbing alchohol (50% or 70%)
on it -- and using the sock like a glove wipe your face off with it

3) - BE SURE NOT TO INHALE or GET THAT STUFF IN YOUR EYES, and DO NOT DRINK IT - you could go blind or much worse...

4) when your done look at the sock - all the stuff on there is sweat, dirt and bacteria

5) rince of your face again in water (remoisturize)

6) rinse the sock in warm water and ring it out for tomorrow

7) dont do this more than twice a day or t will dry out your skin too much.

- note this procedure doesnt replace the normal washing of your face or where ever. but can be used to safely get rid or control acne, without the use of all that cr@p companies try to sell you - like the special soap that doesnt work.

Make sure your pores are nice and open by putting a warm washcloth over your nose, also make sure there's not makeup or oil on your nose. Then, you have to leave the strip on until it dries completely! It will get hard and you can tap on it and hear it. That's when you pull it off.

They work great for me! I have heard that they either work, or don't. Just depends on the person I guess. I always take a warm, steamy shower for 10-15 min before applying one. Use warm-hot water to wet your nose, and make sure you press it firmly onto your skin.

I think they were originally intended to remove the actuall skin from your nose or at least that is what happened to me. The black heads remained.

Maybe you are getting them too wet or your face is oily before you are using them so they can't stick to anything. Try cleaning and drying your face very well before use and then only dampen them enough to stick. You also have to wait for them to dry completely before peeling them off.
