I had a bill on my credit card, I called them, and they told me "Mike Maguire" signed up for a website subscription. I had left my wallet in his room. Either he used it, or his roommate used it but used his name. Is there a way (maybe by finding out the IP address or something) to get to the bottom of this? They have both denied it.

Contact the bank/ company you have them with. They should be able to find a way to catch them.
