Digital Subscriber line. It shares time on your telephone line, and you can still use your telephone. It works about 98% as good as the cable modem I used to have, and much cheaper. Fast as I need, anyway.

It stands for Digital Subscriber Line. It's a way to transfer more data over a phone line than you get from a normal dialup connection. You get broadband speed, but you have to be close to a phone company switching station for DSL to work for you.

DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line. It allows you to be on the internet w/o tying up your phone line. Filters are put into any phone jack in the house that has a phone plugged in, I guess that splits the signal or something....what the he**, that's about all I know.

Digital Suscriber Line. Two phone lines acting together.
Better than dialup, worse than cable modem. One line drops out if you take a call, you can still surf.
