for being weird and wanting to do weird things, i've been pretty lucky. i always wanted a job writing or working with writers and those positions just seemed to materialize from nothing. at some point, i was staring at a map, focused on the uk and decided i wanted to go there. got hired within two weeks and moved overseas with 40 pounds to my name. i didn't starve to death so i'd say it was a positive experience. did the car, cash, flat, pub and figured i was doing the success thing.
when i got back to the states i started really noticing how many little things the average person can do to help other people out. so far, that has kicked the crap out of everything i thought defined success before. granted, it wasn't a dream i expected to have, but it feels pretty good to find out that you have the potential to become more decent than you are.
that said, i think i can honestly say if i got shot and killed tomorrow, i wouldn't die with a whole lot of should have could haves. i would hope that i would leave a pretty spatter.

There are not long dreams. We are changing each day. Now you have a dream, but tomorrow the same dream have changed somewhat and is another dream. At least it changed in colors. We must learn to avoid long dreams. Live your life today... what will be tomorrow?

I think we have the same birthday....7-13.
Anyway....sort of.....I have a son that I always wanted...he's 12
I have a wife that I always wanted...she's older than 12. LOL
I'll never have the life I expected though. Working on having something good though. I'm just not happy with the times I live in. Should have been born 50 years sooner.

I'm only 22 so this isn't technically life-long but I graduated from college, got my dream job and found guy that loves me who I can see spending the rest of my life with. I love my friends and family and I'm happy. That's a life-long dream.

the term life long dream tends to me that it will take a lite time to fulfill those dreams. You need to ask someone who is dead.
