I have never seen a successful one. Because, sooner or later one of the person in the relationship get tired of their spouse stepping out with the same sex.

there is too much seperation of common interests for two bi people to have a long-term relationship. If it is soley a sexual matter, then it probably doesnt matter how long the relationship is. It could work, if one or both parties can agree to NOT be with the other sex...

Relationship of the same sex is quite diificult to understand, although some are happy with it. In my opinion, relationship would only become successful, if both are to be able to raise a family (Husband and wife capable of producing child of their own blood), otherwise, we consider the relationship still incomplete. Personally, I don't have anything against the same sex relationship, my point is, if we wish to start and settle in a relationship and to become successful with it, it must be with the opposite sex. And follow all the sacred rules of married life, persevere in faith, in love and in holiness, till death do you part.

I know someone who is straight (man) and his GF is bi and they get along great...but they also have a openly monogamous relationship if that makes any sense....they totally trust each other and sometimes they get together with another gal and sometimes it is just the 2 of them. He loves the fact that she likes to be with women...it turns him on...and also loves that fact that she is all his. So yes it can work you just have to meet the right guy.

LOL, great question, but you sort of answered it yourself. COuld you really ever be 100% happy only swinging in only one direction?
I consider myself to be bi, but swing more towards women. My few encounters with men were fun, but in the end didn't really satisfy me. Men are just too boney and have too rough of skin! My most remarkable experience came with a lovely, romantic evening with a pre-op M2F transgender. She was really sweet and we could have had something together if she didn't have anger and alcohol problems.
I'm TG myself and have been for a long time, but i was lucky to meet a woman who accepted me for who i was.
I admire who you are, its really cool you're such an open thinker. Just be carefull with STD's and have fun! You don't have to tie yourself down quite yet, right?

It seems you are looking to be in a relationship that might allow you to enjoy the best of both worlds - cake & eat it too. Aside from monogamy most partners will expect you to stick to one gender, theirs. Its common to desire a way out of this typical arrangement though finding a solution often means making compromises on what both of you see as a normal relationship.
