Algebra is used almost everyday in all lives but without people even knowing it.
A simple wuestion such as "Apples are $1.00 a pound today a the market and I have $10.00 How many apples can i get" While you are standing there tryint to figure out how many apples you can get, you are using algebra.
On the commercial side of things algebra is used by pharmacists, doctors, architechs, engineers, landscapers, hair stylists (althought they don't know it), bakers (they don't realise it either), dress makers, accountants .......................and so on
