report other people when they ask something bad or answer something in a mean way? why don't they just mind their own business?

I don't report people for asking a bad question or answering something offensive to only me. However, I do try to keep in mind that there are a lot of pre-teen/teenagers on here. I have reported a couple of people for some extremely perverse comments about child abuse, and also one about race that I thought was totally out of line to anyone. Other than that, I mind my own business.

Because it's annoying when people ask or answer a question in a stupid way just to get a rise out of people. It would take something really bad for me to report someone though.
