Definately religion.Alot of times, 2 people who are the same faith can't even agree on a certain topic, nevermind 2 people from different faiths, or lack there of.

Going by sheer numbers, I'd have to say religion. 119755 questions have "god" in them, 7205 have "atheists", 22605 have "Christians", and 21700 have "religious", for starters. A quick look through these questions shows a lot more debate and argument than genuine information-seeking queries.

A close runner-up would be the Bush administration and US policy in general. "Bush" yields 30595, "war" has 49069, and "government" has 40091.

Compare that to only 6562 for "abortion", 597 for "pro-life", and 546 for "pro-choice".

Of course, this is on the working assumption that people will discuss the things they find personally sensitive more than the things they find impersonal - and I'm also assuming that a "sensitive topic" is in the eye of the beholder.

Neat question.

G.W. Bush! Oh, wait! You didn't say insensitive or stupid, you said sensitive. I guess the most sensitive issue would be which people should the U.S. kill because of their religion, ideology, natural resources or geographical location? After that, would be what will happen to you in Hell if you masturbate. And the most frequent (if not the most sensitive) issue would be "How can you be so stupid?"

You would think it should be something like racism, extremely personal habits, sexual dysfunction or something like that, but apparently the most sensitive topic is Enda Bambrick, since they keep deleting the questions and answers posted relating to her.

I completely agree. once I answer a query, i in my view do placed some attempt and concept into it. i could want somebody to do an identical with me. i comprehend that an mind-blowing form of people placed up questions accessible just to furnish human beings the thank you to income 2 factors. that's nice in case you opt to make the attempt, yet do no longer answer someones severe question with something stupid and pointless (or rude). that's merely no longer precise.

You would think it would be about GOD, but maybe people have learned to be tolerant of each other.

Immigration debates seem to the hottest topic. I'm not saying that just because your against illegal immigration your racist (because most anti illegals are not racist) , but I have noticed the most vocal opponents use very derogatory language to convey their opinion.

In my opinion it's sex and religion. Well a tie between those two. I've seen some really heated answers for those two. Politics is a very close second though.

Abortion. Believe what you may, but when it's your future at stake, you'll find there are no hard and fast rules. And there is often no easy or good choice. Every single woman I've spoken to who has considered abortion, whether she went through with it or not, has spoken of choosing between two evils.

Immigration. Things get pretty heated and insulting. It's a touchy subject.
