I wish I would've been a hippie. I think they were free and they did nothing to hurt others. They dreamed of a society where there would be no war and violence and everyone would just be free to live and enjoy life. As for the drugs, people didn't know how harmful they could be to the body back then. The drugs just gave you a feeling of relaxation and it gave you this different image of life and it made you feel different. They didn't hurt anyone when they were high, did they? I love hippies, and I wish I would've lived through that era. It was a time where there was real freedom and I think there was less s**t going on in the world.

I like the hippies. They are very interesting and idealistic and peaceful. All the wanted to do is make the world full of serenity and love.
