okay some people may say, especially if you acne, not to use foundation, but this foundation is amazing!!! It only cost around 10.00 but it covers VERY well AND it actually helps get rid of acne!! I have some acne and i was hesitant to use foundation, I finally decided to try this kind and it actually cut my acne in half!! NEUTROGENA SKIN CLEARING OIL-FREE MAKEUP!! IT WORKS!!!
it looks very natural and personally i only cover up the blemishes i have which is only on a few parts of my face. then i dust a light powder over my face. since it blends SOO well no one thinks i wear makeup!

If you skin is normal use liquid foundations(if you like a rich lotion-like consistency), use stick foundations for on the spot coverage, wear Cream to Powder foundations if you want to have a matte finish and it feels ligher than a cream,
Bobbi Brown Essentials Foundation, Iman Second to None Oil Free Makeup SPF 8, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, Vincent Longo Water Canvas or anything Clinique.

Do Not Use Foundation. It will only make your skin break-out more. It's bad for your pores, and men HATE foundation. Trust me honey.. you'll be glad in the long run that you never used it. Find a good loose powder like 'MAC', which you can pick up at any Nordstroms in the U.S. It will cover up great.. add a bronzer on the cheeks.. You'll look HOT!
If your having skin problems this is what you need to do:
1. drink only water and 100% natural juices
2. eat yogurt
3. eat lots of colorful veggies and fruit
4. stay away from any fast food (this will make you break-out!)
5. exercise, exercise!
6. change your bedsheets every week!!!
7. wash your face with a good name brand face soap.
8. use lotions without oil on your face
9. keep hands clean (dirty hands + face touching = pimples)
10. get 15minutes of sun per day.

DON'T get into the habit of using foundation!!!! I think it's just a tad bit nasty, especially if you are young and just starting to use makeup. Use concealer instead to cover up only the spots on your face that need it, then use a light dust of pressed or loose over top. If you absolutely HAVE to wear foundation, try a mineral makeup. Let your skin breathe...especially while you are still young, you'll be glad you did!
Don't forget that the trick to beautiful makeup is to use professional tools to apply it--brushes!!!

try foundation with acne medicine or use concealer under whatever type of foundation you choose. with your skin not being either oily or dry all you have left to worry about is how long you want your make up to stay on. there's some that are made too last and some that are not. think also about how thick you want the foundation to be but keep in mind that the thicker it is the more noticeable it will be on your skin for most make up

Mary Kay has great foundations, use medium coverage to avoid looking like you caked on the makeup. They have a lot of shades, trust me! And they're not TOO expensive.

Expensive is relative, and I think if you're going to spend money on make-up, you have to get department store brand. They can spend time with you finding the perfect one for your skin, and you'll save all the money you would have spent buying ones that don't look right. Go to Estee Lauder and tell them you want a foundation--they'll spend enough time with you to find the perfect one, and it will last a long time.
