How do you say, it’s time for me to go.
How do I tell you, what l really have to say,
when I promised to love you for the rest of your days.
I know it will hurt and,
you may never forgive me.
For telling you it’s time for me to go,
but l want to thank you, for loving me.
I will always cherish the memories,
and the love we tested and tried.
But I will never forget one summer day,
I looked at you and lied.
I didn’t want to tell you,
or see you hurt in anyway.
Because the love that l have for you,
didn’t want to see you cry that day.
I love you with all my heart,
and I wish you the very best.
But I hope someday I’ll see you again,
on clouds where we can continue our nest.
So forgive me my love,
for not telling you the answer.
I didn’t know how to tell you,
I’m dieing of cancer.

This is a wonderful poem - I just wish in my heart of hearts that it wasn't true, although I know it is.
