As long as you don't change your mind when you get older. I know i'm not the same person anymore from when I was 15. I'm willing to bet that most people arn't. Well, good luck anyway.

I'm 23 and have 8 tattoos. I thought that in the US it was illegal to tattoo someone under 18, but maybe you aren't there. Anyway, every tattoo I have is very meaningful to me, except two which I put on my chest and stomach to take attention away from the after-baby stretch marks. It is your own body, and if it is legal for you to get these tattoos, then go ahead. I would never put a name on my body, regardless if it were family or not, I do have tattoos that are significant to my ethnicity, such as tribal markings found on Viking artifacts, but anything offensive would be ridiculous because you probably won't feel that way a few years down the road. Your religion may also change as you grow up and learn more about churches and religion throughout history. Just put some serious thought into it first.

I believe 8 are too many but I don't like tattoos either. I think people need to think long and hard before getting tattoos and make sure what they are getting is something they will still like 20, 30 or 40 years from now. They also need to keep in mind how the body ages and not get one somewhere that is going to change dramatically. Like women really should not get any done on their stomachs if they plan on having children, stretched out tattoos are not very pretty.

eight is quite a bit for a 15 year old, in 10, 15, 20 or even 80 years from now you might not be happy with the choices you made in these tatoos, and also I thought it was illegal to get a tattoo until you are 18. I think you should do what you feel comfortable with but don't say you weren't warned that you might regret them later.

Ok, I will try to be nice or reasonably nice - Yes, 8 tattoos is too much - it costs a lot of money to get them removed. The other thingis that when you get older it will look a bit common. The other thing is - it all depends where the eight are ! Best not to have anymore though !!

I think 8 tattoos are too many for anyone, let alone a 15 year old. If you're okay with having tattoos for the rest of your life (or okay with paying out the butt to have them removed later), then don't worry about it. Just don't be miffed if you don't get hired because the employer finds the tattoo on your wrist intimidating.

I'm afraid it is too many. If you are only 15 you can see the long term consequences of your actions. It can make it harder for you to get employment and your taste may change later in life. I hope you stop now because you don't want to look like a freak. People can be very judgmental toward tattooed people. Don't make things any harder on yourself than they have to be.

8 is too many for a 15 year old because if your tattoos are of things you love, people you miss and so on, then when you're older, and you start loving more things and missing more people, then you're not going to have any room left on your body to put anymore.

Theres nothing wrong with having many tatoos they just give people a negative idea about you. If these tatoos are all significant to you and they actually mean something then you will find a way to operate and be successful while having them. It's not too many tatoos in my opinion but at the same time if something that is important to you comes along or you need to express something important try and find some different outlets. All in all I think its ok.

Things you love = OK if you can HONESTLY say you can see yourself loving them 25 years from now. People = NEVER unless they're blood related. Beliefs = see "things you love." Religion = sure, kind of goes hand in hand with beliefs in a way though.

8 tattoos for a 15-year-old? Yes, sorry, but yes.
