That is how the earth cycles and protects it self. Plus we are in a major tilt. (I think 13 degrees or something? I think Mars tilted 23 degrees and that is why they are warming too). It is all natural! It is just what happens! Your church is just trying to scare you

depends on your perspective...earthquakes in themselves are not bad things. they cause a shift in the stresses within the earth; help break down rocks into smaller pieces that can become soil; create new lakes; cause a mixing of sea waters or lake waters, etc.
As a result of earthquakes, people are injured or killed. Towns and villages are destroyed or disrupted. Economies are destroyed, etc.
However, to say earthquakes in themselves are bad is wrong. It would not be right to say water is bad...we drink it, bathe in it, cook with it, cool with it, use it for recreation, etc. Yet...people drown in it: babies drown in their bath, people fall into lakes, there are tsunamis, there are flash floods. But that doesn't mean water is bad.
All of life is a fragile thing. Cherish it and realize that there is more than just what you want and more than just today.

Because we are ruled by selfish people. We can not fight the nature, but we can find the way to escape. I was able to issue the warning of Tsunami 2 hours before it struck our Indian coast. Even though it was appreciated by several scientist no political leader shown interest to find the truth of my claims. Nothing out of the ordinary, people are just caught up in the whole End of Times thing that now everyone if finally focusing on the weather and stuff when its really not that much diff than it has been, just getting hotter bc of global warming
