Argentina played some great football. They dominated in each game they played. Stupid coach took out Riquelme in the first half of the game. They played awesome but lost to the Germans, which they deserved.
England sucked plain and simple. Barely did anything. Beat Paraguay on an own goal. Beat Trinidad and Tobago in the last 10 minutes. Tied Sweden thanks to an unbelieveable goal by Joe Cole. Against Ecuador the goalkeeper misestimated the shot. And then they finally got punished for their terrible football. Gerrard, Lampard, and Carragher missed.
Owen Hargreaves was awesome though.

In footbal terms no team played better than argentina which had to face the toughest rivals, but it was also important to win, and they couldn-t finish it.
England presented an interesting squad, but they showed no football, they played against average teams and found it very difficult to win.
It was already stated that they were not going to go so far.
arg 8.5/10
eng 5/10

Argentina is very good.....they are one of the few teams who started and ended with the same good performance...
they are good in everything....
England has the same old problem with penalties
they never succeed in any match which reached the penalty if you remember.....they are really bad at shooting ,..they are not well trained
however the match against portugal was there best performance
(in my opinion)
...........
NB:winning is about scoring.......brazil is known to be better than france ,,,,,france scored and won
argentina are suppose to be better than germany...germany scored and won
so the game is about scoring

Argentina, because Argentina's 6-0 win over Serbia & Montenegro was bigger than England's largest win, a 2-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago.

I agree with the others. Argentina played well (with the exception of their performance against Mexico, in that case, Mexico was the better side) throughout the tournament.
England's performance, as per usual, was sub-par.
