I think he's looking for public approval to boost record sales. I think the guy is a total hypocrite. I think there is more virtue in my little toe on my left foot than in bonos entire body. Maybe i'm wrong though, maybe he really cares about these third world countries, you'll all find out one way or another though in the afterlife.

I don't know why many people seem to dislike him. I'm not big on U2 but I know that what he's doing for humanity with his charitable work is a good thing. I mean, how many other wealthy people or celebrities donate so much for worthy causes? ... and I;m not talking about Oprah type stuff, like makeovers for people with low self esteem type crap... Is it because he asked George Bush for help and he got it? I saw him on TV just yesterday (Bono), and he said that people didn't believe him about that, yet Bush is has always helped bring aid and HIV medication and aid to Africa... I think that regardless if wether or not he's famous and making alot of money on his career, his charity and humanitarian aid outweighs the bad (if any). Also, why do people always rag on other formerly dirt poor people who get rich, and quick? I think that what Bono is and always has looked for is equality and rights for all humanity... I don't know if you can find that sort of thing these days... that's why you do hte next best thing: make it happen... AND I think he's doing a good job along with other people from all walks of life and places on Earth... It's hard for most people to get into his state of mind, especially if they've never experienced poverty, oppression, and hatred like he did growing up in Ireland... and many others have or are, all over the world... Besides, so what if he's filthy rich, he's using it for good!!! The same goes for freakin Bill Gates. How many rich *ss folk do YOU know or have heard of that are NOT leaving their fortune for their kids to fight over and spend like spoiled crazy celebrities? NOT MANY!!! So, even though Bono may not find what he's looking for in this lifetime, he's helping to make it possible for our children and their decendants to experience it.

He forgot what he was looking for in the end because he got on the train to save Africa so the world found him instead.
Maybe he found the recognition needed that way cause i never remember him without his sunglasses before that beautiful day ... could have missed it though.

He's looking for what everyone else on this planet is looking for. Meaning, happiness, and peace. I don't know if he's found it yet though. Have you?
