Because every time he tries growing one, he gets in trouble and momma gorilla slaps it right off his face. And by the way, good girls like bad guys 'cuz they want what they're not.

Yeah, the same reason when people in movies wake up, they still have perfect makeup and people fall into mud or gunk and still come out spotless. Hollywood sucks at realism.
