I am a african american-hispanic mixed male and i shaved with a razor once and now the bumps come back when i shave with a electric shavor. I have tried regular alcohol but it doesnt get rid of them. If any help, please let me know!!!!!

Hi, my husband has started using a shaving lotion from Arbonne and doesn't get shaving bumps at all anymore and his neck doesn't itch either. You can find it at www.wonderful.myarbonne.com in their online catalog. They ship in the US and Canada though.

I owned a franchise business until a couple years ago, and the parent company did not allow beards on employees. Well, some years ago, the policy was changed to allow African Americans with this type of condition to have well-groomed beards. I'm sorry, I don't have the information about that condition any more, but now you know that there is such a thing. As far as I know, there is no "cure"; you basically just live with it or grow yourself a beard. To find out what it's called, etc., etc., ask a doctor.....and tell the doctor about what I said.

Nivea, or Gillette has medicated lotions and gels specifically for that. you can use it for anywhere you shave.
