Wait, was the guy on the toilet when he proposed, or he proposed to her while she was on the toilet? Either way, it doesn't speak very well of his timing. If that's not a deal-breaker for you, just tell him you will not accept a bathroom proposal, and he'll need to try again another time in a more romantic fashion. That way, she'll have a better story to tell people when they ask how he proposed.

I couldn't imagine my man in the bathroom with me while I was sitting on the toilet. Let alone proposing. I think it's kind of gross.

I think that is by far the worst place to propose, and I would not take the ring untill he does it the correct way.

I could think of better places to be proposed to!
Its not very romantic and the woman should definatley say "NO!"
He could at least wait until she got out of the bathroom!
