near a lg city, this would mean moving away fr family. but improving your own. i say yes,but would like some imput. thanks.

i did this exactly. i moved from southern CA to a smaller city in Colorado. and we love it. we were able to buy a nice house and cars, and the cost of living is so much cheaper here. we could have never afforded all the wonderful things we have here, if we were still in california. plus it's a better family enviornment for our kids, they love the mountains and changes in the seasons.

I would love the opportunity to move to a small town. The chance to prosper would be an added bonus.

Do it. You can always move back if things don't work out. Sometimes moving away from family and everything familiar is the best way to find yourself too.
