This probably sounds a bit crazy, but I'm not sure what the difference is. I've read what both are about, but they sound very similar. I've got Flight 93 on dvd and have been wondering if I should buy United 93 when it comes on dvd or is there much of a difference between the 2 movies? I'm guessing they added more features to the theatrical release. Could someone clarify for me, please?

OK....
United 93 is the movie that was released in the cinemas....more jerky camera stuff - not much music... no interaction with family on ground shown (that is the family members aren't shown)

Flight 93 - tv movie - was great - great music - excellent acting - thrilliing and showed family connections etc....

Both films are about the same event. No famous actors in any of the two movies...
see Flight 93 if you only want to see one...its much better - but they are very close to be honesr in many ways...

If you have an interest in movies or the strory depicted - watch both.

United 93 was a hollywood movie, and Flight 93 was a made for TV movie.
I'd stick with United 93, since the production is a little higher and I haven't heard anything bad about it. But I heard Flight 93 was good also, for a made for tv movie.

That earlier poster had it backwards. "United 93" was the theatrical movie. "Flight 93" was the TV-movie that was produced earlier. The issue is production values--more effort (and money) was put into United 93 to realize the director's vision of depicting the experience aboard the fateful flight.

The money spent producing them... I saw United 93, then saw the package for Flight 93, and it had the exact same scenes as were in the United 93 movie.

i thought they were two separate movies. the one that came out this winter in theatres was called "flight 93." i've seen copies of "united 93" in stores, and i always thought it was an earlier movie that was either no good or more like a documentary.

Education is good, because it teaches you how to learn, how to discipline your mind. Knowledge for a Christian is knowing the word, knowing your God, His nature, His will, His outlook on things. Wisdom is looking at things from God's perspective and putting them into action. Knowledge is great, but too much of it can puff you up if you don't counteract it with fruit of the Spirit. Ever know a person who's very knowledgeable, but has no temperance and no love? Their knowledge is almost useless in the long run. But wisdom? You find that and your soul shall live, because when you find wisdom, you find the way God Himself looks at a situation. Proverbs 3: By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.
