"Spookie" It is Afrikaans and means some thing like small ghost.When i was younger I could move very silently.She still has the habit of talking to me with her back turned esp. if she is busy doing chores.As soon as I perceived the conversation over I would leave to do something else.You know how women are.They never finish.Getting no answer she would turn an see that I am long gone.Like a ghost.There and then not.That s how I got my pet name from her.She is the only one to use it.Love it.
